Grahamisms

I am hard pressed to remember what I did for amusement before I had kids.  I certainly laugh much more these days!  Graham’s sayings and Miles’ smiles bring so much joy and fun to our home.  Here are a few “Grahamisms” that have made us laugh, and hopefully can bring a smile to someone else too. 🙂

“Mommy, Mommy, I need a drink of water because my hiccups are burping!”

“Moderation is a virtue.  Well, I’d agree, if I knew what it meant!”  (A quote from Beatrix Potter’s “Pigling Bland.”  Not what I expected upon opening Graham’s car door to help him out after a shopping trip!)

“Open to Sesame!” (Trying to get Miles to open his mouth.)

Graham called me outside the other morning to show me that he could ride his tricycle all by himself!  He’s been working on it for awhile, but could only ride downhill before.  Now he can ride around under our carport too!

Day Out with Thomas

 

Last Saturday, Graham and Miles and I got to go and see Thomas the Tank Engine!  Graham had lots of fun seeing all the Thomas things, but especially the huge life size engine!

 

 

We stopped at Aldi on the way home, and Miles got to ride in the cart for the first time!  He loved it…grinned the whole time. 🙂


First tastes

It’s been forever since I posted here, but here I am again, with all sorts of good intentions to post more regularly!  The little ones in my life are so incredibly sweet and adorable that I can’t help but want to share the cuteness! Here are some photos of Miles’ first tastes of food!  Avocado was on the menu, and he wasn’t quite sure about it…
